I'm looking for a senior level PHP engineer for a 3-5
month contract in NYC. 

Sr. PHP/Perl Web Developer - Windows
Location:  United States, New York, Manhattan (212)  
Pay rate:  market USD  
Travel:  0%  
Terms of employment:  Independent contractor (hourly) 

Length of employment:  3-5 months plus  
Hours:  Full time  
Onsite:  yes  
Description:  The Sr. PHP Engineer will build various
web applications in a Windows environment. If you know
PHP, ActiveState Perl, SQL and the web like the back
of your hand, this job is for you. We are seeking an
experienced, highly motivated developer with a
hands-on attitude, and great communication skills.
You'll be providing programming and analysis
throughout an approximate 3-5 month development cycle.

 
Required skills:  

-- Strong proficiency in PHP, object oriented Perl,
HTML/DHTML/CSS, JavaScript, and SQL/relational
database design and programming is required. 

-- 6 or more years web applications development
experience required. 

-- Prefer proficiency with ActiveState Perl, SQL
Server, Access 

-- Knowledge and experience with Internet
security/scalability requirements. 

-- Strong written and verbal communication and
documentation skills, ability to work on a team, and
personal initiative required.
