Job Description:
We are looking to hire a ninja-essque developer to join our team. You  
will be part of a development team, and you'll report to the lead  
developer.

ABOUT US:
We are a group of alumni from NYU-ITP [NYU's Interactive  
Telecommunication Program]. As part of a grant project, we developed  
a web application that was launched nation wide.

The project is essentially a photo hunt, like a reversal  of flickr.com
Instead of taking photos and setting tags, users get tags and take  
photos. We also have a web presence that includes a voting system.

Our project was featured in Come Out and Play{www.comeoutandplay.org}  
as well mtvU’s Woodies Awards {www.mtvu.com}.





You should be someone who
+ has kick-ass coder powers – we’re looking for ninja, judo, or black  
belt coders & developers. Show us some ninja moves and you’re in.
+ is proficient with object-oriented PHP4
+ knows MySQL well enough to do complicated multi-table join queries  
(including subqueries)
+ familiar with design patterns for database-driven classes in PHP
+ good organization
+ can write unit tests

+ some samples of clean, well-documented code that you have written
+ a resume would be nice but isn't required

Pluses:
+ You’ve developed high-traffic mysql-driven applications
+ You can optimize mysql database indices
+ You know what subversion is (and you use it)

+ sysadmin experience
+ experience w/ qmail
+ experience w/ mobile devices

Pay is $40/hr, negotiable based on experience,
You can expecct somewhere in the range of 20-40 hours over the next 4  
weeks.
