Massify is hiring a Mid to Senior Level PHP Developer.

We are looking for a dynamic, multiple-hat wearing, enthusiastic mid- to
senior level PHP developer interested in working in an evolving,
cross-disciplined environment.

You, our ideal candidate, have a mind for creative problem solving and 3 to
5 years experience working on production websites with PHP using MVC
patterns.

You appreciate the beauty of the command line and know what third normal
form is. You want to be a part of something creative and work in a fun
environment.

About Us

Massify is a collaborative, film grant, social networking site for film
creatives and enthusiasts.

We are creating a unique web space where users can develop story ideas and
compete for film grants. It's a place where people pitch movie/story ideas,
critique pitches, connect with each other and win filmmaking grants.

Here's more about the job:

Requirements:

* 3-5 years development experience on commercial production sites
* OOP PHP experience.
* CSS/HTML/JavaScript skills
* Administration of RDBMS systems
* Perl experience

Pluses:

* *NIX Administration - Apache configuration, shell scripting, DNS
configuration
* Experience optimizing and tuning apache and php
* Likes AJAX, but understands its place

Responsibilities

* Support and advise Director of Technology in all areas of development
* Participate in creative process - design through deployment
* R&D new technologies for future site features

This position is full time and on-site in New York. The position is open to
U.S. residents with authorization to work. We prefer not to relocate, but
for you, our ideal candidate, anything is possible.
