A client of ours in Ridge, NY (Eastern Long Island) is looking for two 
web programmers to join their team.  They are a not for profit company 
who is looking to start someone right away.  This is a permanent

Salary: $70,000-$80,000, Benefits include 403B where employer 
contributes 10% of your annual salary per year in this retirement fund.

Requirements:
* Experience with full lifecycle development in Ruby, Python, Perl, or 
PHP.
* Excellent object oriented design and implementation skills.
* Strong unix skills (Linux/FreeBSD/Mac OS X preferred).
* Experience building dynamic websites with MVC frameworks (Rails, 
Mason, Django, Zope, etc.).
* Experience configuring web servers and deploying applications 
(Apache, lighttpd, Tomcat, etc.).
* Knowledge of XHTML, CSS, Javascript.
* Strong SQL skills (MySQL preferred).
* Knowledge of test/behavior driven development and tools (Test::Unit, 
RSpec, JUnit, etc.).

Bonus points:
* Experience with O/R mapping tools such as ActiveRecord or Hibernate.
* Experience with XML, XSLT, XPath.
* Some experience with Java.
* Experience with developing AJAX driven applications (especially using 
the jQuery library).
* Experience using the Drupal content management system.
* Agile development practices: test first, automated builds, rapid 
prototyping, etc.
