About the Position 

This position is responsible for developing cutting edge media rich Internet
applications & development tools. Be a part of a great and innovative team
and be a driving force for continuous excellence through innovation. 

Develop cutting edge web applications. Research, analyze, implement and
integrate new mechanisms and technologies within an interactive online
environment. Design and develop database infrastructure and front end UI.
Code, test and debug applications from written and verbal specifications.
Utilize PHP, MySQL, MS-SQL, ODBC, XML, JavaScript, DHTML 

Requirements


We are looking for an exceptional individual, capable of taking advantage of
an empowering environment. Specific background must include: 
. B.Sc. in Computer Science or Mathematics

. Experienced in development of rich media & ecommerce web applications 

. 2 to 5 years experience with PHP & mySQL. 
. Experience with Graphic, Audio & Video formats - highly desired

. Self motivated, innovative, and capable of independent achievement

A national online real estate company,  is seeking a PHP Developer.

 

Top level, innovative, web development department seeks experienced PHP
developer to join a team of 8. This is a growth opportunity at a company
with proven revenues and ongoing expansion. The site attracts more than 2
million unique visitors per month and the department is doing new and
interesting web development on an ongoing basis. 

 

The candidate should have 5 years experience although exceptions will be
made for people just out of school who demonstrate an exceptional set of
skills (open source projects, etc.).

 

The successful candidate will be an expert in at least one of these
disciplines:

 

* Object Oriented Programming (PHP 5, Java, Python, etc.)

* XML

* SQL (MySQL 5, Oracle, DB2, etc.)

 

Our team has competence with all of these so the ideal candidate will be
exceptional with one of the skills above in addition to having a core
competency in the other two.

 

The successful candidate will also have experience working with teams of at
least 3 in a semi-formal development environment. Evaluating specifications,
working with QA, unit testing, etc. are all facets of working on the team.

 

Other desirable skills include: Search Engine Optimization, statistics,
Information Architecture, and possibly other areas.
