I have two Fortune 100 clients in the Garden State seeking Flex/Flash
designers for eCommerce websites. Take your pick!! 

RIA focused website that needs a consultant for at least 6 months:

Position: Flash Designer/Developer


We are a specialty unit focused on eCommerce within a Fortune 10 company
that builds cutting edge user experiences for our Global Business Units.
The use of Rich Internet Technologies in building next generation tools
and applications is a primary focus of this unit. Recent examples of the
use of this technology by our division include building a revolutionary
RIA quote process, crafting 'Interactive Discussion' concepts and
ongoing work in the field of online customer experience.  


We are seeking a Senior Flash Designer to join our growing RIA team in
Jersey City to work on conceptualizing, designing and developing various
initiatives. Each project will go on to become a live online experience
with meaningful user metrics tied to it, allowing our team to accurately
measure the effectiveness of our RIA solution.

This individual will report to our UI Services Manager and work closely
with Information Architects, Application Developers, the Creative team &
other RIA Developers/Designers. 

The successful candidate will possess the following:

*	High degree of iniative and follow-through
*	Strong creative sensibility, resulting in compelling design work
*	Ability to take ownership and independently generate turnaround
on creative concepts
*	Well-organized and detail-oriented work habits

We are interested in candidates who have a minimum of 3+ years of
Flash/Flex experience. They should have project based experience
leveraging leading edge RIA technologies that seamlessly integrate with
back-end systems. They will be expected to undertake technical design
activities & implement applications, frameworks, & components utilizing
an extensive Object Oriented development background. 

Additional qualifications include:

1.	At least 6 years of commercial development experience in
Photoshop & Flash
2.	CSS/HTML, server side development knowledge.
3.	UI Design and graphics design background

Flash/Flex Development and Design for new development:


Responsibilities 
Own the development of one or more Web client-side components, from
specification through design, coding, debugging, and deployment. 
Work closely with the operations teams of mobile operators and hosting
providers such that they understand how to install, configure and
operate Adobe's Web applications. 
Work with members of the Project Management, Design and Development
teams to build a coordinated feature set. 
Work closely with QE engineers to ensure quality throughout the
development cycle. 
Develop and implement creative solutions to integrate our technology
into mobile operator service infrastructures. 
Share expertise and advise others in the application of Web. 
Write high quality, high performance Actionscript 3.0 and mxml code. 
Write complete Unit Tests for developed code. 
Participate in scoping and sizing of requirements using Agile
development methods. 

Qualifications 
Minimum 7 years commercial software development experience. 
BS in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. 

Deep familiarity with Web application technologies (e.g. XML, XSLT,
XHMTL, JavaScript, SOAP). 
3 or more years hands-on ActionScript experience. 
2 or more years hands-on Flex development experience. 
2 or more years developing consumer-facing Web applications. 

Expertise building Flash-based presentations of large-scale
applications. 
Familiarity debugging very large, server-based solutions. 
Ability to thrive working in a team environment and directly with
customers. 
Motivated self-starter who likes working on very productive, fast-paced
teams and assionate desire to build great products. 
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. 
Ideal 3 or more years experience working with mobile operators,
integrating enterprise servers into their billing, customer care,
provisioning, or network operations infrastructure. 
Experience with IBM Websphere . 
Experience developing applications which interact with 10g databases.
