Travel website is seeking a highly proficient LAMP developer in NYC.


*Responsibilities: *

Writing object-oriented, elegant code on an MVC framework
Working with an established site running a mixture of PHP4/PHP5 code.
Will need to pickup / run-with a fairly complex procedural / API legacy
website.


The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about exceeding expectations and
applying cutting-edge web technologies to every project. We expect our
employees to work with deadlines in mind and understand our vision for the
future of the business. A great candidate will quickly become eligible to

*Required skills: *

PHP 4/5 (it's important that you know the difference)
Standards-compliant, cross-browser AJAX (JSON)
Cross-Browser CSS
MySQL 5.x (write and optimize queries)
Experience writing stored procedures a plus
SEO experience a big plus
SOAP web services a plus
Mobile app / web site experience a big plus
