interested in creating online marketing services, solutions, and tools,
then we have an exciting opportunity for you.

 

Text Link Ads (a division of Media Whiz) leverages a network of 40,000
publisher sites to boost search engine rankings and drive targeted
traffic to our clients' sites through link building. 

 

As a PHP Developer, you will work as a problem solver and you'll be
responsible for helping us streamline our workflow and add new features
to our Text Link Ads service offerings. The PHP Developer will work on
websites, email campaigns, and web applications involving design and
development as well as support for ongoing site maintenance, updates, or
enhancements. This includes: PHP development, creation of unit tests,
credit card processing, PayPal billing agreements, working with Sphinx,
MySQL replication, optimizing SQL statements, reporting, as well as
publisher and affiliate payment processing via PayPal mass payments,
check, and Payoneer. 

 

This role requires strong problem solving, designing, coding and
communication skills. You must be able to work independently while being
results driven and goal oriented. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

*         Provide solutions to business issues using internal
development standards. 

*         Generate reports for the billing team and sales team that will
allow them to pinpoint optimal leads.

*         Perform maintenance and enhancements on internal applications.

*         Modify our shopping cart to support new products that are
being developed.

*         Streamline the proposal creation process and search process
(using Sphinx and MySQL) to help our sales agents get alerts when new
inventory is available for their clients.

*         Create plugins for blog and content management systems like
WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla.

*         Work alongside project managers, infrastructure, developers,
and architects. 

*         Work independently on an assigned task with minimal
supervision. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

*   3+ years LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, OO PHP) Development.

*   Solid Experience with X/HTML / CSS / JavaScript / jQuery.

*   Experience with SVN, Sphinx plus, MySQL replication and load
balancing preferred.
