PHP Developer for Thrillist / JackThreads.com

US: Thrillist a free, subscription-based email newsletter that
uncovers your city's finest new food, drinks, gear, travel, and
entertainment.  While working out of Thrillist's office and joining
their team, you will work on the JackThreads (www.JackThreads.com)
brand.  JackThreads.com is a members-only online retailer offering
discounted merchandise from top-tier men’s streetwear, contemporary
fashion, and lifestyle brands.  Be prepared to embrace the fun, fast,
and flexible life of a growing company!

YOU: An experienced E-commerce PHP Developer to join the small and
growing development team, under the Director of Technology.  Exercise
your chops working on something fun.

Bachelors degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years PHP experience, CakePHP a big plus
1+ years jQuery
Database proficiency required
E-commerce experience preferred
Familiarity with a UNIX environment required, sys admin ninja skills a big plus
Familiarity with CSS required.
Bonus points for familiarity with the pitfalls of email campaigns and
reputation management
The position requires both design and implementation work. We've got a
bunch of cool applications in development, some large, some small,
some frontend, some backend. You'll work hard, and you'll learn a lot.

Candidates must be able to work full-time from our offices in either
Columbus, OH or Soho, NYC.  Compensation commensurate with experience.
