Senior Web Developer

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

FXDD seeks a web developer to join our development team.  Candidate should
be self-motivated, energetic, driven and looking to build a career in a
fast-paced market environment at a top brokerage firm.  Responsibilities
include designing and building scalable enterprise (high traffic and
availability) class web based applications.  Participate in requirements
gathering, prioritization, work estimates and scheduling.  

 

REQUIREMENTS:

-Strong Analytical and communication skills

-Expert at hand-coding clean, coherent, compliant, and semantic
HTML/CSS/Javascript

-Minimum 5 years experience with Perl, PHP, XML, AJAX, and Webservices

-Minimum 7 years web development applications experience

-J2EE experience strongly desired 

-Strong understanding of HTML standards and coding best practices 

-CMS experience preferred: Typo3, Drupal or Joomla

-Familiar with relational databases

-Bachelor's degree required
