We're looking for a Scrum Master. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of web sites and, of course, have experience with Scrum. 

This job is on-site in NYC. We are located in midtown, and the company is LookBooks.com - a Software As A Service, Workflow Management company. 

(Please only email me if you are physically in NYC and can work out of our office.  I'm not interested if you have a team in the Ukraine who are amazing project managers.)

The tech team you would be working with are all seasoned professionals, proficient in Agile development.

 Responsibilities:
 Project duties:
• Interface with business owners
• Provide feedback on requirements
• Help business owners understand limitations
• Provide feedback on timelines for completion of projects in progress
• Summarize project statuses for product managers and business owners
• Define project scope and prevent scope creep
• Work with coders to provide high level estimates
• Keep coders firewalled
• Understand relative priorities of projects
• Ensure the correct people are in the room when decisions are being made
• Scrum specific:
  -- Act as a scrum master
  -- Lead sprint kickoffs
  -- Lead project kickoffs
  -- Update the product backlog
  -- Create burndown charts
  -- Understand how agile projects differs from waterfall
  -- Promote methodology to developers, business owners, and qa team
  -- Ensure projects follow proper project protocols – code review, qa, etc.
  -- Review documentation and generate project documentation
Bugs:
• Review incoming bugs and investigate with QA team
• Determine whether can be resolved during up coming sprints
• Ensure high priority bugs are addressed immediately
• Provide feedback on bugs to bug filers
• Update bug statuses to accurately reflect changes
Business:
• Answer questions to assist business
• Push back on both sides when the tech solution presented is
infinitely more complex than the business need
• Work with product managers to break down projects
