The NYC office of Blast Radius has an immediate need for a [Front End Technology] Technical Experience Director who can not only lead and grow the front end development team, but who is also a hands-on developer. Act as the front-end technology team leader when delivering on client and internal projects on an as needed basis.
*       Identify emerging technologies with potential application for web-based user interface and functionality development, including mobile.
*       Collaborate with Creative Directors and other members of the User Experience team to ensure consistency with the project's overall goals and the client's expectations
*       Review Interface Development projects delivered to clients regularly to ensure accuracy and overall success.
*       Work collaboratively with other project team members, including those from Creative, Technology, and Quality Assurance.
*       Define and enforce best practice methodologies.
*       Act as a mentor, coach and leader to the members within the front-end technology development group
*       Responsible for completing performance reviews, recruiting and retaining employees and assisting in career development for those on your assigned client accounts
*       Communicate the Blast Radius' vision throughout the organization, with direct accountability for one business area.


Deep expertise with Flash or HTML/CSS, and a high level of knowledge in both.
*       Minimum of 7 years front end development experience.
*       Experience within professional services, consultancies and/or agencies required.
*       Knowledge of application development, project management, creative processes, and business management.
*       Minimum of two years of experience providing coaching, mentorship and management of front-end developers while on projects.
*       Strong communication, motivation, and conflict resolution skills.
*       Experience with one or more mobile platforms (iOS, Android, Windows7 Mobile, mobile Web).
*       Relevant formal education
