Hands-on PHP Development Lead

Well established boutique publishing firm located in midtown is seeking a Development Lead.  This position reports to the Director of Development and you would be leading a team of 6 PHP Developers.  Excellent working environment!  You will be working with smart & creative people in a team oriented environment.

You will be responsible for supporting and evolving the web site to meet the growing marketing demands for increased sales. This includes all aspects of web design and development including web architecture, UI design, and following industry best practices. As a leader you should be able to set priorities for yourself and the team, manage projects, timelines, and resources.

Requirements:

5-7 years of PHP Development preferably with Zend Framework experience.
1-2 years mentoring and/or managing a small team of Developers.
Exposure to Python would be a huge plus.
CompSci or related degree
