I have an opportunity available for a Wordpress Developer Tech Lead

Location: Midtown Manhattan
Position type: 6-12 month contract (with possible extensions)
Industry: major publishing company


I'm looking for a tech lead to work in my client's NY City office to work on their wordpress website.   You will be the lead tech, there is 1 onsite front end developer, an offshore coordinator, 2 offshore back end developers, 1 offshore front end developer, 1 QA person and as a lead you will coordinate with the offshore team.  I need a tech lead with excellent experience developing complex wordpress-based sites.  I need someone with good technical skills (complex wordpress-based site experience and manipulation of Wordpress templates etc., high level of understanding in PHP, high level of understanding in MYSQL ) and extremely good communication skills.  You will be working on the company's main wordpress site and eventually you may be involved with integrating the Canada site onto this platform.

Must have:
  complex wordpress-based site experience
  PHP
  MYSQL
