[joomla] Good Component For Portfolio

P.S. -- I mean it creates the thumbnails and saves it to the server.

I recently saw a tutorial on creating thumbnails on the fly (every time the page was displayed), but I don't know why you would want a script to do that unless the size was constantly changing.

SOBI2 can be used as a portfolio component -- they have a gallery plugin that creates the thumbnails. Also, I have modified the plugin to give it more display options, which I will be distributing.

Subject: [joomla] Good Component For Portfolio

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking for a good component for setting up a portfolio.

I have looked at two today mmPortfolio and Joomla Portfolio Component 2.0.2.

Both of which are okay, but still have some issues. MmPortfolio is pretty close, although it does not cache the thumbnails on the client side, and has php generate the thumbnails on every requests.

Anybody use any other components for portfolio that they can recommend.

Paul
