Thanks to a friendly phone call, I now know how to save my ordering....
Its that silly floppy disk at the top of the column!  Who would have thunk!!!!

Subject: [joomla] ordering modules?
 

I have multiple modules in a sidebar position, each module is displayed on one or more pages.
How can I specify which order they should appear in?
If I use the arrow keys to move up or move down the module ordering, the modules move up or down
one or more places in the stack....
I tried specifying ordinal numbers in the "ordering" column, but I can't figure out how to save my 

forced ordering.!  

Help appreciated!
