Usually I put my Joomla websites in a subdirectory so things don't get
messed up at the root directory level.

Question is:

Is it possible to display the site URL as www.domain.com/contact.htmlinstead of
www.domain.com/*site*/contact.html, even though the Joomla instalation
remains under */site*?
