The problem is, the name of the form does not get passed to the action page,
only the form elements and their values do.  So if all the elements are
named the same and they all appear in each form, there's no way to tell them
apart.

name of the form?

Couldn't you test which form is being submitted by the form name? Of 
course, that assumes they didn't name all the forms the same also. I may 
be way off track but, just a thought.
