Well,

I'm not using fopen on the machine, rather I'm
using $_FILES from a multipart form that was
submitted. Now, I can test this with the Xitami
webserver and php and it works fine. However when
using apache it blows up. Its like apache is the
one that's corrupting the data stream.

Any ideas on where I might look for solutions?
This needs to be web-based uploads as many clients
need this feature for their php administration
systems.
