Could it possible be the user cron is running the script as?

I've got a strange situation. I'm working on a php shell script that
connects to LDAP and Oracle, and transfers data. This works fine from
the command line, but, when put into crontab, the LDAP connect fails.
What am I missing? I've gone through all the combos I can think of...
