[nycphp-talk] PHP/MySQL based solution for sending bulk email?

Hi Steve,

I'm also currently outsourcing my humble 8,000 member list (and am looking
at other solutions).
Before going any further, may I ask why it has to be a PHP/MySQL solution ?

There are plenty of excellent free / commercial mailing list managers, but
not necessarily in PHP / MySQL.
