Greetings,

Have any of you had any success using the Lotus Notes functions that have
been in PHP since version 4.0.5 (http://php.net/manual/en/ref.notes.php)?

They're still classified as experimental - probably because the sockets
interface is also experimental - and have little to no documentation in
either the manual or the web in general.   In particular I'd like to know
if there are any compile time flags or platform specific gotchas to be
aware of.

My immediate goal is to connect from an AMP installation on Windows 2000 to
an unencrypted local Notes database, and would eventually like to connect
from a LAMP installation to Domino if possible.
