If you're not doing any formatting or function-calling and just want to
get the data into a file that opens easily in Excel, you could also go
the tab delimited route and give the downloaded file a name that ends
with xls. This way you trick Excel into taking ownership of a text file,
and it handles the tab-delimited conversion transparently.
