Just assume everyone works everyday. Isn't that the case?

Burt really, the best you could probably do is plug standards like Jan 
1 or have a  human resource person enter all holidays for that year 
into a form and exclude those as well as weekends.

In other words getlastBusinessDay() that is not  01-01 or not 12-25 etc.
