[nycphp-talk] Escaping special character like *, + in sql where clause

No, it doesnot. It says incorrect syntax near escape. * does not work with '-" but not with like.  
 
I have lot of characters '+' , '++' in the name that I am comparing in the where clause. Every time I run mssql_query with those names, I get an error. Is there anyway I can handle these.
