That attached has been going around on the PHP-DEV list.  Not specific to 4
-> 5, but covers some interesting points.

The number one advantage of moving to PHP 5 from 4 is the object model, that
is to say, more complete and objects are handled by resource/reference,
rather than being copied on a continual basis.
