Just curious.... do you have kids?  do you make a lot more than  65k-80k?  Do 
you own/rent?  I will admit that I was quite spoiled  living in NJ right next 
to the GWB and had the best of both worlds... your  opinion is interesting, 
and worthy of note.

As far as raising a  family in NYC. I wouldn't want to raise a family 
anywhere else. I hated  growing up in the burbs; I had very little exposure to 
different  cultures/people/work/food/you name it. Here you get it all, and overall 
NYC is  one of the safest cities in the  world.
