I just changed a bunch of code from:
session_start();
to
session_start();
session_write_close();

It is a god send, as I occasionally do a Cartesian Join by accident
and the site would just stop working for a minute or so.  Now, I know
why and the problem is solved.  All this time I thought MySQL was
using up all of the servers resources.
