[nycphp-talk] ftp_connect(): php_network_getaddresses: gethostbyname failed

The following works fine in shell:
ftp ftp.domain.com
But my script spins out and returns:
Warning: ftp_connect(): php_network_getaddresses: gethostbyname failed
in file
Why is that?
