[joomla] Suggestions for using Joomla web site for a political campaign?

There's a fellow running for local office and I was asked to make
recommendations for a web site for his campaign. I'd like to propose a
Joomla solution. If anyone has experience with using Joomla for a
political campaign I'd appreciate your comments on this. Thanks!
