hello-

is it at all possible for imagecreatefromgif() to work if I'm running 
php 4.1.2?
I read on php.net that GIF support was removed after GD 1.6 and then 
that it was reinstated in read-only mode in the GD bundled with php 4.3 
so does that mean that php versions prior to 4.3 running GD 2.0 or 
higher don't have GIF support?
