Joseph --

You should be able to get it to work. Can you get a sample of a
properly formatted SOAP request (i.e. the XML) and compare that to
what your code is generating?

That will help you isolate what you need to get ext/soap to do
"better." Once you have that, I may be able to more easily generate
some suggestions for you, as I find the best place to start debugging
is by inspecting the wire.
