JOB DESCRIPTION:
Rapidly expanding e commerce biz is expanding in-house IT dept. We  
are a young, growing company in the Custom Window Treatment Business  
and are seeking an experienced and talented Software Developer with  
strong LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP5) and E-Commerce  
development skills. Using these technologies you will be building new  
features as well as adopting existing features to suit our changing  
needs. Our fast-paced environment requires the ability to  
troubleshoot and react to any problems that may arise on our site. A  
full understanding of object-oriented PHP coding is a must. Projects  
include working on the development and maintenance of the online  
website as well as upgrading and improving the internal  
administration website. You will be working in a small, friendly  
environment which feels very "start-up", working side by side the  
Director of Technology and founding partners. Our office is located  
in Long Island City and is within walking distance to the 7 train  
line (just minutes out of midtown).

QUALIFICATIONS:
~ Must be a self-motivated, eager to get to work
~ Experienced working in start-ups, and the fires that need to be put  
out
~ Excellent communication and organizational skills
~ Comfortable balancing projects and priorities while consistently  
meeting project deadlines
~ 3- 5 years experience in PHP development, with extensive object- 
oriented skills
