Our client is a Bermuda-based alternative investment company that 
invests in equity event driven opportunities. They have been 
successfully generating a consistent and uncorrelated return since their 
launch and are currently expanding their staff team in Bermuda.

On their behalf, we are currently searching for an IT Programmer Analyst 
who will be responsible for all of the company's IT system development 
and application support activities. This role will encompass all aspects 
of IT for the firm and the successful candidate will be required to 
assist with hardware as well as the development of internal systems in a 
range of languages.

Requirements:
This is a key role within our client's IT department that will suit a 
hard working and experienced IT professional with a minimum of 3 years 
of experience in a software development role, preferably at a hedge 
fund, bank or financial institution. Experience working with limited 
oversight and the ability to take charge of key application components 
is essential.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree and experience 
working within a financial institution in the following:
C++/C-Sharp, .NET Framework 3.0/3.5
Visual Studio 2005 onwards
MS SQL Server including database design and development
Windows Server 2003 onwards

The ideal candidate will also have relevant experience with:
Web development tools, including ASP.NET, *PHP*, JavaScript, IIS, Apache
Real time market data feeds and Bloomberg API
Electronic trading systems development

up of a competitive base salary with incentives based on personal and 
fund performance, up to 100% of the base salary.  Income taxes will be
