Our client, a leading global hedge fund based in Bermuda is seeking a 
Senior IT Professional with a strong software development background to 
join their fast paced trading environment.

This is a senior role that requires a dedicated IT professional with 5+ years of experience in a senior role within a hedge fund or trading
division of a financial institution. Demonstrated experience working autonomously while managing an IT infrastructure is essential. The
appropriate candidate will be responsible for the development and support of all internal applications, managing and developing the IT
infrastructure, working directly with the front and back office in a rapid application development (RAD) environment and will manage and
maintain relationships with third party vendors and service providers.
Applicants should hold a relevant degree and have experience in the following areas:
-Maintenance of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) within Excel
- Maintenance and debugging of legacy PHP code
- MS SQL Server experience including database design and development, installation and maintenance
- Microsoft .NET Framework and C#/VB.NET development
- Experience with Bloomberg and the Bloomberg API (other data feed experience an asset)
- Electronic trading systems experience
- VMWare infrastructure setup and maintenance
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the growth of an entrepreneurial hedge fund in beautiful Bermuda.   Compensation is made
up of a competitive base salary with incentives based on personal and fund performance, up to 100% of the base salary.  Income taxes will be
paid by the employer.  Relocation assistance and health benefits are also included.
