PHP Developer (3 month contract - possible right to hire)

 

SecondMarket's Innovation and Technology Group is looking for a highly
motivated and talented PHP developer to join our growing team in downtown
Manhattan. We are leveraging the latest and most exciting technologies and
we need the best and brightest people to help us to create the most
advanced financial systems in the world. As one of our PHP developers you
will be responsible for expanding our public website and CMS application.

 

Skills

. 5-7 years or equivalent experience developing Rich Internet Applications
using PHP, MySQL,   PostgreSQL, CSS, AJAX
. Experience with Ruby on Rails
. Solid working knowledge of Subversion or similar source control
. Database agnostic with experience using PostgreSQL, JQuery  or MySQL
. Strong quality ethic and commitment to good automated acceptance test
coverage
. Willing to work long hours if necessary
. Team player with positive attitude
. Candidate must provide a portfolio of examples
