You could also use send a "Webcast" of the audio and video from
a screen
using a media player with UDP or HTTP.
The clients would watch via a media player (which could be a
flash or Java
window in a browser) for watching the "live" event.
With this setup the "server" screen (with optional audio) could
be
replicated at all remote clients. This "server" could be a
watched from a
media player or from a browser at the client.

Hi,
a totally different approach would be to use the web
interface from
VNC and run the slide show on the server. I have no experience
as to how
well that works with multiple clients. Just an idea.
